Happy Saturday everyone!
This week I’m sharing my favorite creator tools. I guarantee there are one or more tools below that can help you:
Create better content
Make more money
Save time

HypeFury
Cost: $49/month
Why do I love it? HypeFury is the ultimate social media tool. I use it to write and schedule Twitter and LinkedIn posts. For myself and my ghostwriting clients.
My favorite feature: Choosing just one feature is difficult with HypeFury. If I had to choose one, it’s the ability to track my best-performing Tweets and easily turn them into LinkedIn posts. HypeFury helps me leverage more data as a creator.
Stripe
Cost: 2.9% + 30 cents per charge
Why do I love it? Stripe is the easiest way for me to charge clients for my coaching and ghostwriting services. I can create custom payment links and subscriptions for my retainer clients. Stripe makes it incredibly easy for me to get paid for my work.
My favorite feature: sending a bunch of invoices every month is annoying. I love the subscription feature where I can easily set up ongoing monthly payments with clients who want a long-term relationship.
Twemex
Cost: Free
Why do I love it? Twitter is my new favorite platform in 2023. It’s great for studying top creators for new content ideas, copywriting tricks, and post hooks. Twemex is a chrome extension that plugs into Twitter, showing you the all-time best Tweets from your favorite accounts.
My favorite feature: What’s not to love? Whenever I need a good idea for a new post, I simply head over to the authority on my topic and find their best Tweets for inspiration.
Loom Video
Cost: Free or $12.50/month for Business
Why do I love it? In 2023, I’m trying to limit meetings as much as possible. Loom helps me do that by recording videos and capturing my screen at the same time. I use to send instructional videos to my clients and record videos for my upcoming course.
My favorite feature: every video I record turns into a shareable link in my Loom dashboard. This makes it easy to shoot and share videos with clients in a few minutes. Game changer for a no-code monkey like me.
Notion
Cost: Free
Why do I love it? I’ll be honest. Notion is a beast of a productivity app. I’m barely scratching the surface on how best to use it. It’s like a second brain where I can store content ideas, create operating systems for my business, and collaborate with other creators.
My favorite feature: I recently followed Justin Welsh by using Notion to create my upcoming course 12 Steps to LinkedIn Mastery in a nice checklist format that’s easy for my customers to access.
Otter.ai
Cost: Free to $20/month
Why do I love it? Now that I’m a full-time ghostwriter, I’m learning about tools that make life easier for writers. Otter is one of them. It plugs into Zoom and allows me to transcribe our entire calls with clients to text.
My favorite feature: when I’m interviewing clients to tease out content ideas, I love that Otter turns our conversation into an outlined text format that feels like a podcast summary.
Answerthepublic.com
Cost: Free
Why do I love it? As a writer, I need endless content ideas. Answer the public is a website where I can type the top 2-3 keywords my idea readers care about (e.g. Long-term investing) and it gives me 50+ questions that people are searching for answers to.
My favorite feature: any time I’m running dry on content ideas, I type in the top 2-3 keywords and instantly get 50+ new ideas.
Taplio’s Carousel Generator
Cost: Free
Why do I love it? I’ve been using Twitter to test content ideas for LinkedIn. Whenever a Tweet does better than usual, I head over to Taplio’s carousel tool to turn it into a LinkedIn post for the week ahead.
My favorite feature: copy and paste the link to your Tweet or Thread into Taplio’s carousel generator and voilà - you have a Tweetshot post that looks as good as Justin Welsh and Alex Hormozi.
Dot Journals & Muji Pens
Cost: Less than $20
Why do I love it? I’m a journal and pen snob. I write most of my content and run my business from a journal. I’m constantly carrying these two tools around and they’ve made me more money than any digital tool on this list. Do not sleep on the journal and pen combo.
My favorite feature: I’m convinced a journal and pen are the best ways to get shit done. Avoid screens and spill your ideas onto the page. Enjoy.
