A Ghostwriter is not a ghost. Though, you never see them.
Ghostwriters used to be people who wrote books for celebrities, entrepreneurs, and the Oprahs of the world who are too busy to sit down and write a book themselves.
In 2023, there are Digital Ghostwriters creating content on LinkedIn, Twitter, and other platforms for busy founders.
Many of your favorite creators have a Ghostwriter posting for them.
And they pay good money for ghostwriters to:

Grow their email list
Build their personal brand on social
Drive traffic to their services & products
Some say Ghostwriting is cheating.
I say it’s misunderstood.
A good Ghostwriter doesn’t just write anything.
They interview the ghostwriting client to tease out their personal stories, career journey, and philosophy that underpins their business.
The content is written in the client’s voice, even though it’s written by someone else.

Here’s my Ghostwriting process with clients.
Step 1: Get clear on their goals and ideal customer profile (ICP).
Step 2: Optimize their LinkedIn profile to speak directly to their ideal clients.
Step 3: Identify their top content pillars and topics that will drive results.
Step 4: Coach clients on how to engage with large creators (I don’t do this for them.)
Step 5: Write 1 week of LinkedIn posts and schedule their posts in HypeFury.
Step 6: Use data to track what works vs doesn’t each week. Double down on what does.
This process worked for me.
Now I use it to supercharge growth for founders with stories that need telling.
3) They help you build an authentic personal brand.
A bad Ghostwriter just copies. They write generalized AI content that’s plastered all over social media.
A good Ghostwriter tells stories. They understand the most important part of a personal brand is what makes it personal: You.

I get to know their customers.
I get to know their company and team.
This takes time and energy.
